| Paul purchased his car 33 years ago in 1964 as a project car which was in the process of having a Grey Holden motor installed. Paul completed the job using a Cortina GT gearbox and a FC Holden differential. Wheels are from aTR6, and the front brakes are from an MGA 1600. The engine is fitted with an extractor exhaust system and twin Strombergs on a Monaro Motors inlet manifold. The seats are from a TF, and the speedo & tacho from a TR3. All told this is a very well modified car which sounds magnificent. Externally the only feature which indicates that this is no ordinary TD, is the exhaust pipe poking out the wrong side at the back of the car. Paul has competed in a recent Three Peaks Rally |
