| John Hawkesworth purchased this TD whilst in the process of restoring a TF on the basis that the two models were so similar that lessons learned on the TF would be easily applied to the TD. Restoration took 2 years and was completed in 1998. The engine was rebuilt by Ray Skewes and the gearbox was reconditioned by John Needham. Details on this car/owner were supplied by his friend Peter Howe.
When purchased by Ray Blythe the Reg No was QAT 036, which has been subsequently changed to TD 5346.
