| Donald and Pat purchased their car in 1992 as a very tired and smokey but complete vehicle. The previous owners’ restoration intentions never materialised. Restoration by Don included full dismantling, cleaning stripping and renewal of worn suspension parts, engine & gearbox rebuilds and a full body restoration.
Work was completed in 1995. Car since used in Townsville club events and the MGCC Gosford National Meeting.
Identifying features are: Grille bars painted silver, fitted with a spare wheel cover, and the hood has 3 rear windows a la MGB style. |
