| Car in need of full restoration. Engine missing when purchased by Neil McDowell. Since Phillip purchased the car he has fitted TF wire wheels and a "B" series 1620cc engine with an MGB exhaust manifold, a ZA Magnette gearbox with an MGA remote gear lever extension and an MGB 3.9:1 differential.
In 1999 the car won the Rolling Chassis class at the MGCC Concours at Wesley Grammar School.
After completion in early 2000 Phil competed in his first MGCC Motorkhana at Somerton on April 9, 2000. Phil won the MGCC Driving Championship in 2001 in the Specials pre-MGA Class. |
